This vew was taken from Buckland Road, acros the railway. Note the Signal box bottom right and the tender of a south east & chatham railway loco, bottom left. This is were the railway run into the Invicta works.
Viewed from Fremlin Brewery across the River Medway. Purchased by Jesse Ellis & Co in 1885. Note the Steam Crane beside the cut. The cut is now filled in.
