The Jesse Ellis Residence
1881. Jesse Ellis (age 34), his wife Mary (age 31), and children, Edith (age 10), Minnie (age 8). Jesse junior (age 6), Arthur (age 4), Mabel (age 2), and Isabel (age 1 month), plus three servants, all lived here. His work shop was at the rear of the building were he repaired his steam rollers & traction engines. This was his second home in Maidstone.
